With cold and flu season fast approaching and COVID-19 cases rising in many places, it’s extra important to make sure you’re nourishing your body with healthy, immune boosting foods. More important than any vitamins you could take is making sure you’re getting proper nutrients from the foods you eat.
- 1 Banana
High in vitamin B6 which helps with immunity
- 1/2 cup strawberries
High in vitamin C
- 1 pitted medjool date
So good for digestion! And good gut health = good overall health
- 2 cups spinach
Excellent source of vitamins C, A, and E
- 1 scoop Clean Lean Protein
With all 9 essential amino acids to fuel and repair your immune system
- 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
- 1/4 cup coconut yogurt
Healthy fats that will also strengthen your immunity
- 1 cup water
Hydration is critical for flushing out unhealthy toxins and keeping your immune system strong!
Blend all ingredients together in a high speed blender and top with some fresh shredded coconut or any other topping you like!
