Q. What does being a Nuzest sports influencer mean to you?

A. Being a Nuzest sports influencer is so exciting to me because it’s another opportunity for me to encourage people to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle that also helps contribute to the preservation of our environment.

Q. How do you make healthy choices and avoid temptations when it comes to your nutrition?

A. It’s definitely hard to avoid temptations when it comes to my nutrition but I try to focus on the benefits that making healthy choices will have for me both on and off the field and that helps me stay on track.

Q. What is your favorite indulgence?

A. I love to just kick back, relax, and watch a good movie whether it’s an old classic film, underrated indie flick, or big blockbuster hit.

Q. What is your favorite healthy snack?

A. Coconut milk yogurt with granola, fruit, and honey.

Q. How do you stay active and fit?

A. I’m always trying to stay fit to perform at my highest level. In the offseason I really like to challenge myself with different forms of cross training like boxing and swimming.

Q. What is your favorite form of exercise?

A. Swimming.

Q. Aside from being a soccer superstar, what do you do for fun?

A. Most of my free time goes toward operating my business, but I also love to hang out with my family and whenever I can, go to the beach!

Q.What advice do you have for people wanting to kick-start a healthy lifestyle or to pump up their nutrition?

A. My advice would be to start small and make slight adjustments as opposed to trying to completely change your lifestyle and eating habits all at one time. It’s much easier to make small substitutions and eliminations and build momentum from achieving the small goals first.
